A traditional masonry pattern where bricks or stones are laid in a herringbone arrangement.

A historic method of laying bricks or flat stones in an alternating, interlocking zigzag pattern, resembling an ear of wheat. While originally used in Roman concrete core walls and pavements for structural stability, it is primarily used in decorative paving and feature walls.
