DVCS

A direct view camera system is an optical or digital system used to provide pilots or operators with a direct visual feed.

A direct view camera system (DVCS) provides a live, unaugmented visual feed from outside an aircraft or spacecraft to the crew inside. It is typically used to monitor blind spots, cargo hooks, or external payloads during flight. Unlike synthetic vision or infrared, a DVCS relies on standard visible light to give the pilot a true representation of the exterior environment.
