The flashing exterior lights used to indicate a lane change or directional turn.

A mandatory lighting system comprising amber or red lamps on the front, rear, and sometimes sides of a vehicle. Activated by a stalk on the steering column, it routes power through a flasher relay or body control module to create a rhythmic blinking that warns other drivers of intended movement.
