A specialized driver-training vehicle fitted with a hydraulic frame and caster wheels. An instructor controls the hydraulics to lift the car's weight slightly off its primary tires, artificially inducing oversteer, understeer, or total traction loss at low, safe speeds to teach skid recovery techniques.
We spent three hours in the skid car learning how to catch snap oversteer before they let's on the ice track.
