A chopped vehicle has had its roofline lowered by cutting a horizontal section out of the windshield, A-pillars, B-pillars, and C-pillars, then welding the roof back onto the shorter supports. This creates a sleeker, more aerodynamic profile with a significantly narrower greenhouse. The process requires extensive fabrication, including custom-cut glass and realigned window tracks.
The roof is chopped three inches, which gives it that classic hot rod look but makes visibility a nightmare.
