CCS2 (Combined Charging System 2) is an electric vehicle charging interface that integrates a Type 2 AC connector with two additional DC power pins. It supports both single-phase and three-phase AC charging alongside high-power DC fast charging through a single vehicle port. This standard dominates the European market and is widely adopted globally outside of North America and Japan.
The customer imported a European model and can't use local fast chargers without a CCS2 to CCS1 adapter.
