Fast epoxies use reactive hardeners to gel in roughly five minutes and handle in 15 to 30, trading strength, heat resistance and long-term durability for speed. They come in small double syringes and are mixed by hand on scrap card. Technicians keep them for fixtures, prototypes and repairs, and engineers keep them out of production drawings.
Grab the five-minute epoxy and tack that sensor bracket, we'll do it properly next week.
