Hot rubberized asphalt is heated to around 350 to 400 F and applied in layers with a reinforcing fabric between, commonly to a total of about 215 mils. It bonds fully to concrete, self-heals small punctures and is a common choice for plaza decks, green roofs and protected membrane roofs where it will be buried under overburden. It needs a dry deck and a protection layer over it.
