Water, oil, gas. The figure is the maximum non-shock pressure in psi at roughly ambient temperature, and it says nothing about hot service. Bronze and brass ball valves for plumbing and utility air commonly read 600 WOG, often with a separate, much lower steam rating marked WSP. Industrial specs tend to use CWP, cold working pressure, for the same idea.
It's a 600 WOG ball valve, fine for the compressed air drop, but don't let anyone put it on the steam trap station.
