A historic coarse woolen cloth manufactured in Wales for export and working-class garments.

A durable, unrefined wool fabric woven in a simple plain weave, produced extensively in Welsh cottage industries during early commercial eras. It was heavily fulled to create a dense, weather-resistant material. Traders exported vast quantities of it for military uniforms, plantation clothing, and heavy winter coats.
