A crafter's personal collection of unused yarn, fabric, or supplies.

The accumulated inventory of yarn, fabric yardage, or thread owned by a knitter, sewist, or crafter, which has not yet been assigned to a specific project. A stash is built up over time through impulse buys, leftover materials, and planned purchases. Managing, organizing, and busting (using up) the stash is a major part of fiber arts culture.
