Bobble

nounStandard termTextiles

A raised, three-dimensional bump created in knitted or crocheted fabric.

A decorative cluster of stitches worked into a single stitch to form a protruding bump on the surface of the fabric. In knitting, this is usually done by increasing multiple stitches into one, working back and forth on them, and then decreasing them back to a single stitch.
