Inband describes network management or control traffic that flows over the same physical or logical path as the regular production data. When an administrator manages a router using its standard IP address over the main network, they are using inband management. If the primary network goes down, inband access is lost, making troubleshooting difficult.
We lost the main link, so inband management is dead. You'll have to dial into the console port to bring it back up.
