High-bit-rate Digital Subscriber Line (HDSL) is a symmetric telecommunications protocol used to transmit digital data over standard twisted-pair copper telephone lines. It was primarily deployed by carriers as a cheaper, easier way to provision T1 or E1 circuits without requiring repeaters every few thousand feet.
The customer still has an old HDSL circuit providing their PRI, we need to migrate them to fiber.
