LIFO

abbreviationShop talkShop Slang

A lazy coworker who arrives late and leaves early.

Last In, First Out. A sarcastic designation for a crew member or manager who consistently shows up after the shift starts and disappears before quitting time. It borrows the standard accounting and inventory acronym to mock someone who avoids doing their fair share of the daily hours.

Heard on the job

Don't expect Gary to help with the cleanup, he's strictly LIFO.
