Bodger

nounShop talkShop Slang

An incompetent or careless worker who consistently executes poor quality repairs.

This label is given to a mechanic, tradesperson, or DIY enthusiast who overestimates their abilities and routinely ruins equipment. They are known for cutting corners, using the wrong tools, and leaving behind a trail of broken parts. When their makeshift fixes inevitably fail, they typically blame the equipment or a previous worker.
