A spring-loaded or screw-adjusted prop that presses bricks in the top half of a rotary kiln ring against the shell while the ring is completed. Once the keys are driven, the ring holds itself in compression and the pogos come out. The method is cheap but slow and labor-heavy compared with a bricking machine.
We're on pogo sticks for this reline, the bricking machine is tied up at the other plant.
