Drips come from leaking spin packs, degraded polymer on the spinneret face, broken filaments that bunch up or contamination in the melt. They show as hard spots that customers can feel and that can tear or puncture during converting. Camera systems count drips per square meter, and a rising count often triggers a pack change.
Camera is counting three drips per hundred meters on beam one, so plan a pack change at shift end.
