A historic horse-drawn cart used to transport coal or ore underground.

A low, flat-bottomed wheeled cart traditionally used in underground coal mines to haul tubs of mined material. These vehicles were pulled by pit ponies or horses along wooden or iron tramways from the working face to the main haulage shaft.
