A loud, explosive rocket used as an emergency signal.

A pyrotechnic device that shoots into the air and detonates with a loud bang and a bright flash. They are primarily used by lifeboats, coastguards, or vessels in distress to attract attention in low visibility or to summon a volunteer crew to the station.
