The cutting attachment mounted on the boom of a logging machine.

The front-end implement on a feller-buncher or harvester that actually grips and severs the tree. It typically consists of heavy grab arms and a cutting mechanism, such as a continuous hot saw (disc saw), a chainsaw bar, or hydraulic shears.
