A logging contractor or company that specializes in removing all timber from a given area.

A person or logging outfit that executes clearcut harvests. The term usually refers to the contracting business rather than an individual piece of machinery or a single logger. They manage the heavy equipment, felling, skidding, and loading required to strip a cutblock down to bare ground and slash.
