Ballistic body armour worn by emergency responders during violent incidents.

A protective torso garment made from tightly woven synthetic fibres designed to absorb and distribute the impact of firearm projectiles. Fire and EMS personnel wear these vests when responding to active shooter events, domestic disputes, or unsecured scenes where violence is a threat. They are often worn over standard uniform shirts but under turnout gear.
