A DTI washer whose protrusions are backed by pockets of bright silicone. As the bumps flatten at the required tension, the silicone is forced out through channels, so the installer sees completion without reaching for a feeler gauge. The name started as a trade name and is used for the type on steel erection jobs.
Keep turning till the orange comes out of the squirters on all of them, then move on to the next splice.
