MICTOR

abbreviationStandard termElectronics

A high-speed, high-density matched impedance connector used for routing digital signals.

Matched Impedance Connector is a family of high-speed board-to-board interconnects designed to maintain signal integrity across multiple parallel data lines. They feature a central ground bus blade that separates two rows of signal contacts, minimizing crosstalk and providing a continuous impedance path. They are heavily used in logic analyzer probes and high-frequency digital testing.

Heard on the job

Plug the logic analyzer breakout cable into the MICTOR header on the prototype board so we can capture the memory bus transactions.
