Caddy is a maker of spring-steel fasteners, and a Caddy clip is any of its many push-on supports: clips that hold EMT or MC to threaded rod, brackets that hang boxes between studs, and hangers that bite onto beam flanges or support wires. They go on by hand or with a tap of a hammer, which is why commercial crews use them by the case. A related style called bat wings grips rod or wire and holds conduit or cable to it.
Hang the MC off the all-thread with Caddy clips, no more than six feet apart, the inspector is counting.
