Pressurized tank that meters abrasive into the air stream for blasting, controlled from the nozzle.

The pressure vessel of an abrasive blast machine, which holds the grit and feeds it into the compressed air line through a metering valve. The blaster controls it remotely with a deadman switch at the nozzle. Crews talk about filling, choking and dumping the pot, and moisture in the air supply that clumps the abrasive is a constant fight, hence aftercoolers and moisture separators.
