An industrial facility that manufactures cement powder from raw minerals.

A heavy industrial plant where limestone, clay, and other materials are crushed, blended, and heated in a rotary kiln to produce clinker. The clinker is then ground into the fine powder known as Portland cement. These facilities operate at extremely high temperatures and are distinct from the batch plants that mix concrete.
