Architectural panel

nounStandard termBuilding

A metal roofing system designed primarily for visual appeal on steep slopes.

A type of metal roofing panel featuring raised seams, designed to be installed over a solid roof deck. Unlike structural panels that can span open framing, architectural panels rely on the deck for support and require a steep enough pitch to shed water effectively, as their seams are not fully watertight under standing water.
