Ceiling and Visibility Unrestricted means the cloud base is at least 10,000 feet above ground level and horizontal visibility is 10 miles or greater. Pilots love seeing this on a weather briefing because it means visual flight rules apply and there are no weather hazards to navigate around. It represents the clearest, most ideal conditions for flying.
