Six-pack

nounShop talkAutomotive

An induction setup featuring three two-barrel carburetors.

A high-performance intake manifold configuration consisting of three two-barrel carburetors mounted in a row. The engine runs on the center carburetor for normal cruising to maintain drivability, while the outer two carburetors open under heavy acceleration to flood the engine with fuel and air. It is most famously associated with classic Chrysler, Dodge, and Plymouth muscle cars.
