Multi-clutch transmission. This design uses a compact wet startup clutch pack in place of a fluid torque converter to couple the engine to the geartrain. It significantly reduces rotational inertia and allows for exceptionally fast, crisp gear changes. High-performance vehicles use this setup to handle massive torque outputs while maintaining direct throttle response.
The customer is complaining about a harsh engagement off the line, so we need to run an adaptation on the MCT clutch pack.
