Dynamic shear rheometer, the binder test that sandwiches a disk of asphalt between two plates and oscillates one of them at 10 radians per second. It reports the complex shear modulus G* and the phase angle delta, which together show how stiff and how elastic the binder is at a given temperature. At high temperatures it checks rutting resistance on fresh and RTFO-aged binder with 25 mm plates; at intermediate temperatures it checks fatigue on PAV residue with 8 mm plates.
DSR on the RTFO residue came in at 2.4 kPa at 64, so the tank still grades out as a 64.
