Antisagging agents alter the melt viscosity of the powder coating as it flows out in the oven. They ensure the resin remains thick enough to resist gravity on vertical surfaces while still leveling out smoothly. This prevents heavy film builds from developing runs, drips, or thick edges before the crosslinking reaction locks the finish in place.
Check the antisagging package on this new batch, we're getting heavy curtains on the tall extrusions.
Antisagging additives often trade off against flow and leveling. Pushing the sag resistance too high usually results in heavy orange peel.
