The classic sling psychrometer carries two thermometers, one with a wet wick, on a handle you whirl through the air until the wet bulb reading settles. Digital psychrometers and wireless probes do the same job, and techs say grab the sling psych when they mean take wet bulb and humidity readings for a charging chart or a comfort complaint.
Grab the sling psych and get me return wet bulb, I want to check this superheat against the chart.
