Each reinforcement layer is laid with extra length, the lift is placed and compacted against a temporary form, and the tail is folded up and back over the next lift. It gives a cheap, flexible face for temporary walls, haul road embankments and reinforced slopes. Exposed fabric faces need UV protection such as shotcrete, vegetation or a later permanent facing.
Wrap-around facing on the temp wall, so leave four feet of tail on each layer to fold back.
