A large threaded fastener with a hex or square head used for wood framing.

A heavy structural wood screw featuring a hexagonal or square head designed for wrench tightening. It has a coarse, widely spaced thread that tapers to a gimlet point, allowing it to bite deeply into timber and provide high pull-out resistance.
