A blind rivet made of a tubular body and a nail-like mandrel. The setting tool pulls the mandrel head into the body, swelling it behind the sheet until the mandrel breaks at a designed neck. It joins sheet, trim, ductwork and light brackets where only one side is reachable. Strength depends on body material, diameter and grip range, and structural versions lock the mandrel stub inside the body for extra shear strength.
Grip range on these pop rivets is too short for two skins plus the gusset, grab the next length up.
