Lollipop

verbShop talkFarming

To strip the lower branches and foliage from a plant to concentrate growth at the top.

A pruning technique where all lower branches, leaves, and bud sites are removed from a plant's main stem, leaving only a canopy at the top. This improves airflow near the soil line and directs the plant's energy into the upper flowers or fruits that receive the most light. It is heavily used in indoor cultivation and greenhouse environments.
