This baseband video standard multiplexes luminance, chrominance, and synchronization pulses into one continuous analog waveform. It typically travels over a 75-ohm coaxial cable terminated with a yellow RCA jack or BNC connector. Because all picture information shares the same bandwidth, it suffers from dot crawl and color bleeding compared to component video formats.
