A steel sheet coated with an alloy of aluminum and zinc for extreme corrosion resistance.

A patented metal roofing and siding material consisting of a carbon steel core coated with a mixture of aluminum, zinc, and a trace of silicon. The aluminum provides long-term barrier protection, while the zinc offers galvanic protection at cut edges and scratches, making it highly durable in harsh weather.

Insider tip

Never use copper flashing or lead pencils on Galvalume, as the dissimilar metals will cause rapid galvanic corrosion.
