A structural slice or sub-assembly of an aircraft fuselage.

A section refers to a distinct structural block of an airframe, usually defined by fuselage stations. In manufacturing, large aircraft are built in separate sections, such as the forward, center, and aft sections, which are then joined together during final assembly.
