The Jupiter Icy Moons Explorer is an ESA mission designed to study Jupiter and its three largest ice-covered moons: Ganymede, Callisto, and Europa. The spacecraft carries a suite of remote sensing, geophysical, and in situ instruments to characterize these moons as both planetary objects and possible habitats.
