A radiator-like device placed between a forced induction compressor and the engine's intake manifold. Compressing air generates intense heat, which decreases air density and increases the risk of engine detonation. By routing this hot air through a network of cooling fins exposed to ambient airflow or engine coolant, the device lowers the charge temperature, allowing the engine to produce more power safely.
We need to pressure test the intercooler piping because I suspect a boost leak under heavy load.
