B100 is 100 percent pure biodiesel, manufactured from vegetable oils, animal fats, or recycled restaurant grease. It acts as a strong solvent that can degrade natural rubber fuel lines and gaskets in older vehicles, and it gels at much higher temperatures than conventional diesel. Because of these properties, running B100 requires specific cold-weather heaters and compatible synthetic plumbing.
He tried running B100 in his old rig and it dissolved every rubber seal in the injection pump.
