Y-front

adjectiveStandard termTextiles

A style of men's briefs featuring an overlapping front fly constructed with seams shaped like an inverted Y.

This construction method creates a functional front opening for men's underwear while providing structural support. The overlapping fabric panels are bound by seams that converge at the bottom center of the crotch panel and diverge upward toward the waistband. This design allows for expansion and secure containment without requiring buttons or snaps.

Make sure you specify the Y-front design on the tech pack so the factory knows we want the functional fly.
