A stint is a specific period of time spent working a particular job, shift, or assignment.

An allocated period of continuous work or a temporary assignment. It often refers to a short-term contract, a specific shift pattern, or a phase of a career spent in a particular department. Workers use it to describe temporary hardships or temporary roles before moving on to a permanent position.
