Clickable

adjectiveStandard termProduction

Capable of being cleanly die-cut without losing shape.

A material is clickable if it recovers its original thickness and profile immediately after a die punches through it. If a foam or elastomer is not clickable, the pressure of the blade will compress it before cutting, resulting in concave edges or dimension errors on the finished part.
