PLB

abbreviationStandard termLogistics

Public light bus, a type of shared transport vehicle operating on fixed or semi-fixed routes.

Public light bus (PLB) refers to a class of commercial passenger vehicles, often minibuses, used to supplement standard transit networks. They typically carry around 16 to 19 passengers and operate in areas where full-sized buses are impractical or demand is lower. In many transit systems, they bridge the gap between taxis and heavy municipal bus routes.
