Universal replacement blower and condenser fan motors rarely bolt into the original mounts. A belly band wraps around the motor shell and tightens with a bolt, with arms or ears that attach to the existing bracket. Techs carry an assortment on the truck, and using one lets a single universal motor stand in for dozens of factory part numbers.
